Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov
Overview - Recordings
- Scores - Books - Links
Born: March 18, 1844, Tikhvin, Russia
Died: June 21, 1908, Liubensk, Russia
Rimsky-Korsakov's works are unsurpassed as 19th century concertos for band.
You can get them all in a fine Temple CD coupled with Karel Husa conducting
Music for Prague 1968, but the Stockholm performances are fine as well. I've not
yet heard the other performances.
