Reed's La Fiesta Mexicana, subtitled "A Mexican Folk-Song Symphony," is an old-fashioned band classic. All the recordings are fine, but the Dunn/Dallas Fiesta! CD is linked around Mexican and Spanish themes, making for a particularly enjoyable setting for this work. The Fennell/Eastman recording is mono but still sounds great.
